It is very important for people to read and study the Bible. It reveals the will of God for the Believer and the path of Salvation for the non-believer. Personally, I believe that praying the Scriptures is a good way to talk to God. The following verse reveals God’s attitude towards pride and arrogance. Proverbs 8:13 (KJV) states “The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” Why Does God Hate Arrogance? The Lord hates arrogance for good reason. The arrogant put themselves before anything, including God. I believe a good number of people struggle with this sin. I definitely struggle with this sin, and I express it in annoying ways that have cost me important relationships and strained others down through the years.
