Focus Verse (Psalm 119:5) “ O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!” —— Psalm 119:5 (KJV) Context for Psalm 119:5 ALEPH (Psalm 119: 1-8) (1) Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.  (2) Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.  (3) They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.  (4) Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.   (5) O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!    (6) Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. “If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.” —-Proverbs 30:32 (KJV) Pray for the Lord’s help in seeing any arrogance or hardness in our hearts. Pray for forgiveness for any kind of arrogance or hardness of the heart. Pray for the Lord’s help in searching our hearts for any kind of “evil” or sinful thought or act. Pray for the forgiveness of any sinful thought or act. Pray that we will be still and know that he is God.
