Jesus Our “Favour” - Proverbs 12:2

  “A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.” —Proverbs 12:2 (KJV) “ A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD:” Christ is our righteousness. Jesus is our “ favor”. He was the “good man“ on our behalf. Even our good works come from Jesus. We have the blessed hope of eternal life through him: “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:” ——I Corinthians 1:30 (KJV) “…but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.” We are bound for an eternity Hell and the Lake of Fire without the redemptive power of Christ.  “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” —-Revelation 20:15 (KJV) We have all sinned.
